Bugzilla's unablitiy to send mail using office 365 Smtp server

Hi,

Im using bugzilla version 4.4.9 on ubuntu. Bugzilla is unable to send mail using office 365 Smtp server. I have configured bugzilla to the best of my knowledge.

mail_delivery_method-> Smtp

mailfrom -> username of the mail account 

smtpserver-> smtp.office365.com:587

smtp_ssl-> on

smtp_debug-> on

smtp_username->****

smtp_password->****

It is throwing error and traceback as below->

Error-> There was an error sending mail . Couldn't connect to smtp.office365.com:587

Hi Tumul,

Looking in you configuration description, believe you are missing TLS, for Office 365 is one of the requirements.

Hi Neftali,

In the configuration, I couldn't find Tls anymore other than at two places->

1)ssl_redirect-> on,  at Required Settings under Parameters in Administration

2)smtp_ssl-> on, at Email under Parameters in Administration

 Please help me out if I'm missing something.

Hi Tumul,

Sorry for the delay, make sure that the 587 port is open because youre error said could not connect.

I foiund a tread that will help you out to configure the smtp relay.
