Best version of Microsoft Office/Word (Mac OS Catalina 10.15)

Some advice please. I have a 2011 iMac with OS Catalina 10.15. It is running terrible with the latest version of office. Which is the ideal version to install?

As per your description, as according to this article, the Office 365 for Mac supports the 3 most recent versions of macOS, Microsoft 365 for Mac and Office 2019 for Mac supports macOS 10.15 Catalina.

However, you may need to install Office 365 version 16.55 on your Mac OS Catalina 10.15. Here is install package link Office suite (with Teams) or you may also install/download via this link Release history for Office for Mac
