After I installed McAfee to my PC Microsoft Word and Excel stopped working?? Please help me

Hi,

I installed a version of Microsoft anti-virus last week and afterwards Microsoft word and excel and iTunes stopped working. I uninstalled the antivirus to see would the issue resolve but it persisted. I contacted McAfee and they said due to the fact that the problem persisted while the anti virus was un installed it was out of their hands and to contact microsoft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start the computer in clean boot and then try to open ‘Word and Excel’ application and check if you are able to open it refer the article below to start the computer in clean boot.

Note: Ensure to restart the computer in normal mode by following Step 7 in the article, after completing the troubleshooting steps.

If Office application works fine in clean boot Repair office 2007 and verify the status.
