Adding AOL email address to Outlook

To add an AOL email address to Outlook, please follow these steps:

1. Open Outlook and click on the "File" tab.

2. Click on "Add Account" under the "Account Information" section.

3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."

4. Choose "POP or IMAP" and click "Next."

5. Enter your name and AOL email address in the appropriate fields.

6. Select "IMAP" as the account type.

7. In the "Incoming mail server" field, enter "imap.aol.com."

8. In the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" field, enter "smtp.aol.com."

9. Enter your AOL email address and password in the appropriate fields.

10. Click on the "More Settings" button.

11. Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab and check the box that says "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."

12. Click on the "Advanced" tab and enter the following information:

- Incoming server (IMAP): 993

- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

- Outgoing server (SMTP): 587

- Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS

13. Click "OK" to save your settings.

14. Click "Next" and Outlook will test your account settings.

15. If everything is successful, click "Finish" to complete the setup process.
