Not only can you not add an image to outlook android app. but you can't even add a simple link. like what gives.? lol isn't a signature supposed to be... I don't know unique?

I just wanted to attach my Instagram link or image but I can't lol. I have to rely on a PC or laptop to get that done.

beef up the mobile app.

The best solution is to delete the android outlook and install other as Bluemail or in case of Samsung the Samsung mail application  I done so and now very happy

Then what about enterprise calendaring? When you have exchange-based meeting reminders and appointment-sharing, etc?

They locked and closed feedback with the comments of "Nope, not going to do it!"
Pretty basic and given it can't be done in Outlook, AquaMail will be our new corporate client for Android.

If I wasn't forced by my company to use Outlook on Android, I would never use it and definitely will never recommend it!

There is an answer to this but it depends on whether the community will support you.

If Microsoft deny a feature that thousands of people have asked for (and many thousands more possibly if the thread did not get locked), then the user community can simply deny Microsoft the feedback.

If people were to simply tell Microsoft that they are going to boycott User Voice until Microsoft start engaging on things like this, then simply stop asking, total radio silence, I doubt Microsoft will ignore it for much longer.

Face facts.  Microsoft save millions, if not billions, in wasted effort by delivering what people ask for.  If people refuse to tell them what they want, but tell them exactly what they don't want after Microsoft have spent billions developing it, then Microsoft may treat its users with a little more respect.

Good luck with getting that one done though.  People seem to think that if they just keep on **** stuff will happen.  Refusing to offer help is a far more effective method than ****.  Your voice is worth billions to Microsoft.  About time they started paying for it with features people want.

Rather than just locking threads and taking their toys home.

Here's a way that works on my phone (not necessarily "easy" depending on your skill level, but it's a way):

Tested and working on:

Samsung Galaxy S8, Android 9, Outlook for Android 4.0.57 (367)

Method 1 - Embedded image (using Base64 encoding)

----------

Go to https://www.base64-image.de/

Upload your logo to convert to Base64 format.

Copy the code in to an email on your PC and email to your Android phone.

Copy and paste the code in to Outlook's signature box, and then add the following to the front of it

<img src='

and this at the end of it

'>

The apostrophe's are important that they're the correct one's.

When I tried using the apostrophe on my Windows PC, it didn't like that one, so make sure you type it on the Android phone instead.

Note: once you've setup the sig, Outlook will turn it in to a weird coloured box if you go look directly at the signature box again.

If you need to edit your signature, you'll have to re-paste the code again to get the logo again.

Probably best to keep the email with the Base64 code in your drafts or another folder.

Method 2 - Link to image (using Base64 encoded URL)

----------

Go to https://mothereff.in/html-entities

Enter in the url to your logo

untick the box "only encode unsafe and non-ASCII characters"

highlight and copy the encoded URL

Email the encoded URL to your android phone

Copy and paste the code in to Outlook's signature box, and then add the following to the front of it

<img src="

and this at the end of it

">

The double-quotes are important that they're the correct one's.

When I tried using the double-quotes on my Windows PC, it didn't like those ones, so make sure you type it on the Android phone instead.

Note: once you've setup the sig, Outlook will turn it in to a weird coloured box if you go look directly at the signature box again.

If you need to edit your signature, you'll have to re-paste the code again to get the logo again.

Probably best to keep the email with the Base64 code in your drafts or another folder.
