"a lexicon (XLLEX.DLL) is missing or damaged"

Any time I attempt to open Excel, I am receiving this error:

"a lexicon (XLLEX.DLL) is missing or damaged"

I have also attempted to start Excel in safe mode, with no luck. In addition, i can't seem to open any of my Office 365 applications. I have checked on my subscription, and there don't appear to be issues there. Running Windows 7, 64-bit OS, if that helps.

Can someone offer guidance to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback.

That is an error with the lexicon (dictionary) in Office.

You should repair the Office installation:

Please click Windows Start
Choose Settings
Click Apps
Click on Microsoft Office in the list
Click Modify
Choose Online Repair
