Samsung Omnia 7 Bricked - Stuck in boot loop.

Hi, my phone decided to restart itself, only it won't boot now. It displays the "Samsung Omnia 7" Splash screen but freezes there.

I've tried removing the battery, left it for 10 mins, same problem, left it for 2 hours, same problem. My phone is only 1 month old.

I have never tampered with the phone - Hardware or software.

Is there a way I can enter a safe mode or recovery mode? Or even just restoring my phone via Zune, for example?

Hello Jordan Whitfield,

I cannot tell if what you did in the step 2 posts above is the same set of steps I'm going to suggest, but if not, please do give it a shot.

Device switched off (remove and reinsert the battery)

1. Press and hold the Camera, Volume Down, and Power buttons simultaneously.

2. Release Power when the phone vibrates, but continue to hold down Camera and Volume Down.

3. Release Camera and Volume Down when the Format prompt is displayed on screen.

4. Press Windows key twice to confirm the hard reset.

If this does not resolve your issue, you may have an inssue with how the internal memory is seated, or even possibly bad internal memory causing your infinite boot loop.  The next step would be to most likely return your phone to the store and get a new one, or whatever process they have for your phone and your mobile operator.  Hope the above works, good luck and Happy Holidays.
