    Announcement: New site design for Microsoft Community

    In July, Microsoft will roll out the first of ongoing site improvements aimed to modernize Microsoft Community and help customers get the most out of their community experience.

    • During the roll out period, you may see the old or new site design depending on your location

    • We expect the roll out to finish by 31 July

Announcement: Download of Applications

Some of our customers have reported errors when attempting to download a new application or update an existing application.


We have resolved a digital certificate problem that was preventing download of certain new apps and updates from Marketplace. It will take 1-2 days for the fix to deploy and newly-published apps to begin appearing in Marketplace again. If you have been experiencing errors downloading, you don’t need to do anything to download new apps or updates once the fix has finished rolling out:

  • For apps that are stuck in the download queue, tap retry and the app will finish installing.
  • For apps that were deleted from the phone, find the app in Marketplace and tap Install.
