email problems with Htc hd7 windows phone. Error code 800c0069 & 8004010f

Having same problem with my phone as others have highlighted. Phone been workign great for last month or so. UNtul last night noticed that no emails were comng through. Just a normal hotmail account. Rang o2 but not much help they've had no trainign as its a new phone. Have tried the fixes, like uncheck the sync email, reboot and then recheck the email sync. But to no avail. New error code is 8004010f. Seen another suggestion about deleting the email account. Cannot delete the first email account set up (not possible to do) Seems to be the only solution is to restore to factory settings. Reluctant to do this as money spent on downloads and the time spent setting everything up as I want it.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated !

Hello Richard and DecTenToo,

I have not been much successful in getting some useful hints from the error numbers mentioned, I assume that you both have good network coverage and internet access when you are trying to synchronize.

Richard in your case you are able to sync successfully other content except email - so I guess that there is no problem login to your account from WP7 device. Re-adding emails as a content for sync will end up with the error right? I am afraid that without contacting the live support I am not able to solve the problem. Reset to factory defaults would probably solve the issue but you would need to reinstall all the applications etc. You could also try to change the password but I don't think it would help in your case.

In the second case it might be something related to login to Live account - I would try to change the password from Live web interface and then change it on your Windows Phone 7. Would the device synchronize with the new password or are you getting the same error message?
