Error 0x80072F05 with exchange active sync (on WM 6.1) for a hotmail.com account

Hello,

I tried to setup an exchange active sync in my windows mobile 6.1 (Samsung Omnia SGH-900) for my hotmail.com account.

I followed all instructions using m.hotmail.com & s.outlook.com, and in all cases I get the error code 0x80072F05 asking me to change the time, indicating there is a problem with a security certificate...

How can this be fixed?

Thanks.

Answer
I also had the same problem (from 28 Jan) with my windows mobile 6.1 samsung i900. I read all your posts here and, finally I found the solution -at least it worked for me.
1. I downloaded the cert from http://secure.globalsign.net/cacert/Root-R1.crt
2. I changed the format to .cer.
3. I copied the file to my storage card (in program files folder -if it matters) and I run it. That's all.
I hope I helped...
