N8 Unsupported USB device/ Error in USB connection Message

Why oh why did i buy a Nokia N8??? I get this message when I plug in my Nokia N8. "Unsupported USB device. Disconect device." I click ok and then get, "Error in USB conection. Disconnect cable."

All i want to do is get some pictures into my pc for printing. can i get some help?

Presumably you have not installed Ovi Suite upon your PC available here?

Default USB connectivity mode on N8 = Nokia Ovi Suite, so got to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > USB - change to Mass storage mode and device will behave as a Windows USB mass storage device with usual rules for safe removal.

guys my problem got solved by nokia service centre problem is usb is shorted in board he just cleand with sum solution board and error msg gone after that he updated my mobile to symbian anna no charges due to warranty u people pls renewel ur warranty its better to us
