Microsoft Lumia 535 touch screen problems

Dear Microsoft,

I purchased a Lumia 535 dual sim windows 8.1 and this is my very first Lumia. But it disappointed me with touch screen issues. I feel sorry for investing my money on this phone.

Sometimes I need to hard press, sometimes an app opens unexpectedly and sometimes, the worst, I have to put very hard efforts with my fingers on the screen for making inputs and selections.

Touch sensitivity is a very basic core functionality of a smartphone and it is appalling that I have this issue.

Please let me know what should  I do now. I have updated the software at Nokia care and it was not fruitful to the full extent.

Thanks

Hi Srirkv.

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I understand that your Lumia 535's touch screen is not working as expected.

In that situation I would recommend to create backup of your phone with the use of built in function.

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-gb/how-to/wp8/settings-and-personalization/back-up-my-stuff

As well as copying the phone's content over to your PC.

Followed by the Device's Reset :

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/how-to/wp8/settings-and-personalization/reset-my-phone

If that does not resolve the issue.

Please try another type of reset with the use of Software Recovery Tool :

http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/mobile/support/faq/?topic=FA142987

In most situations the Software Recovery Tool resolves the issue.

Thank You

Marek
