Microsoft doesn't "make apps available".

If the app is made by a certain company, it is that company's job to make their app for each operating system. Speak to Jio as it is their job.

Yes.My mistake.I should have kept in mind that Microsoft doesn't make app.But is it not possible for Microsoft to tie up with Jio,like Samsung and other smartphone makers doing??In fact small smartphone makers like xolo, carbon also done that. That was my point. This will be helpful for windows phone users and also for Windows phone to exist...

Sorry Microsoft, Because of your "I am big" attitude your phones are not selling in the market. I made a mistake by buying your Phone. Now it is a garbage at my home. I will never make mistake of buying your phones.

Hey folks - love the passion here! However...

VoLTE requires mobile operator specific implementation. Dual-SIM and open market phones (i.e. those not purchased from an operator) do not support VoLTE. Please direct your questions regarding availability and support of Windows to Reliance Jio: https://www.jio.com/en-in/contact-us

Mike,  you are right.  But these Jio guys are developing apps that allows LTE phone users to make voice calls using the data network which actually functions as VoLTE phone.

Now,  all the phone manufacturer including Apple in India had tied up with Jio and all the phones are working as VoLTE phone.

I believe the arrogance of Microsoft is not letting them talk to Jio guys and as a result we the buyer of Microsoft are suffering.

Now, in India,  Jio is coming up with plans  for any phone using Jio SIM and it is anticipated that Jio is the next Network Operator and others will eventually vanish from market. And same will happen to Microsoft phones if they simply ignore Jio rather than writing codes for Jio and signing contract with Jio. (check the plans ffom Jio)

So,  Microsoft,  if you want your phones to sell in India, talk to Jio.

Hi Friends....

I am writing this to inform you all that we windows phone user can use Jio sim in windows phone(4G must,eg,mine is Lumia 640 xl lte dual sim).Barrier is that you can only use Internet(unlimited!!!) in your phone, but can't call,no vedio call as My jio app is needed for that which is not available in windows store till now(may come soon!!).What you have to do is to collect an activated jio sim card in your phone(borrow any 4G android device from any relative who not willing to use jio!! and get Barcode,go to jio store with aadhar card and get sim),then select network in setting to 4G,then open mobile+setting>Sim 1 or 2 setting(in which you inserted the jio sim)>manual internet apn>in apn-just write Jionet and IP address-IPv4v6(other field left vacant)....and save....then enjoy unlimited data...It's not joke,I'm using this in my phone.Thank you.
