Mail and Calendar no longer starts after latest app update to v.16006.11001.20083.0 - November 2018

Windows 10 Phone issue Lumia 1520.

Latest update Mail and Calendar 16006.11001.20083.0

This update came right after the Microsoft Store update: 11810.1001.12.0.

Mail and Calendar no longer starts. After a short flash screen the app crashed back to the main screen. Tried restart and soft reset.

App got updated today 07-11-2018. This morning before the update it worked fine.

Found multiple users with this problem on Appraisin website.

Since today Outlook Mail & Agenda apps won't open. After splashscreen the interface just jumps back to home.

Sync seems to be working OK (e.g. counters get updated when i receive new mail)

I noticed the app updated today to version 16006.11001.20083.0

I've already tried soft reset by taking out the battery, this changes nothing

Same here. Is is unbelievable stuff this from MS.  First they combine all in this outlook.app and now it freezes after update to 16006.110001.20083.0

No chance to delete the app or reinstall . No solution with soft rested. No solution with delete of account.

What is this for customer experience. From 1980?

Did you get an update for the app recently ? Which app version are you running at present ?

Yes. I noticed that Outlook Mail was updated last night. Now I can't use it or Calendar - even after a hard reset. In the meantime I've downloaded a mailer and calendar from the Store and they work fine - as does my Windows 10 laptop. So I'm pretty sure my Outlook account / e-mail is A-Okay. The version is 16006.11001.20083.0 which it shows as being "updated today". Thanks for your interest and speedy reply! :-)

done that already.  But MS don't bother quick fixes, it seems

Mobile phone without mail is pretty useless :-(

I am having the same problem Lumia 950. Outlook mail app closes after 3 sec.

Tried the font scale change and rotation.  But no succes.  It still syncs.  Change sync settings. ( < 7 days) but no result.  version : 16006.110001.20083.0

Same issue on Lumia 735 after update on November 6, 2018.

Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar 16006.11001.20083.0.

Same issue. It says I need Hello. Hello not supported on the 735. They need to fix this in a hurry
