Importing contacts - Nokia 215/220/225

Hello.

I would like to know if it is possible to import contacts from a .vcf file in Nokia 215/220/225. These phones have any PC software available? Nokia Suite?

If not, well, I am moving from Android back to Nokia, how can I achieve this?

Nokia 215, Nokia 220 and Nokia 225 are able to import the phonebook of Google Android directly via Bluetooth (PBAP).

You can, but because they have made the contacts system terrible with the 215 (and I guess the others) you can only have one number and one name with each contact. That means if your old phone (say, a nokia from 5 years ago) could handle multiple numbers you end up with about 7 entries per contact.

Have Nokia 215, Nokia 220 or Nokia 225 any computer software available, like Nokia Suite?

No…

Therefore instead of those Series 30+ (MediaTek) based phones, you might be better-off with

A) Nokia 301 (Nokia Series 40) or

B) Nokia E52 (Symbian/S60).

Those are the operating systems from Nokia which you used in the past.

Thanks Abi99. The problem is simple. It is impossible to get a Nokia 301 Dual Sim nowadays. Stores don't have it no more. Besides, I think it would not be a good idea to buy a phone that is already discontinued and with no support.

You could get them used or refurbished in eBay. Series 30+ is very limited in its software, even compared to phones from the year 2007. I would rather go for such an unsupported but usable phone, than the current Series 30+.

pc for config. of suite

The Nokia Suite does not work with a Series 30+ (MediaTek) based device like yours.

Nokia 225 Dual:

Go to Contacts --> Options --> Copy contacts --> Another Device, click Choose.

Above process will ask for "Copy to" select "Phone".

This will start-up Bluetooth with message Switching on Bluetooth.

After switching on Bluetooth in the device automatically it will show following message: "To transfer files using Slam via Bluetooth, move the devices close to each other".

At this stage start your Android phone and make the phone visible.

Then your Nokia device will show the phone which you connected and pair it. Accept the pairing request on other device.

After accepting the pairing request, the Nokia device will ask you "Start importing contacts to your phone?" Select "Yes". This will transfer entire contact from your Android device to Nokia device.
