Same here.  I transferred all of my Vivaldi and Chrome favorites to Collections and now it looks like I lost everything... -_-

My Collections list has disappeared. And I can tell I am not alone! No updates either. Could somebody answer this?

Just wondering, if you navigate to edge://favorites, is there a folder called Other Favorites? Are your saved tabs there by chance?

Hi, You-Are-Kent ---

You are referring to "saved tabs" as opposed to referring to "favorites" or items in "Collections".  -I believe that these are all independent elements (aren't they?)

Anyway, yes... I do have a folder named "Other Favorites"; but, the content from Collections isn't (and has never been listed) there.

There seems to be a "Import data from Microsoft Edge Legacy" experimental flag available under edge://flags/. I am wondering whether that might allow you to "re-import" the tabs you are missing. However, the options under this page are experimental, so please be warned that this may cause you to lose data:

"WARNING: EXPERIMENTAL FEATURES AHEAD! By enabling these features, you could lose browser data or compromise your security or privacy. Enabled features apply to all users of this browser."

Hello i-am-kent,

I enabled the experimental flag "Import data from Microsoft Edge Legacy" and re-importet. Under Collections I see some collections but most of them are empty. I must confess I don't remenber if I added these my self when I restartet Edge after installation and noticed my collections where missing or if they where added with the last re-import.

Quick comment and question: Where should these "backup files" be located? I tried to locate any backup files but was not able to find any. My PC was reinstalled, not only Edge. If the backup files are located on the C:\ drive I understand that they are lost. But as I use OneDrive as my homedrive I'm hoping that the "favorite backup" I did before reinstall also somehow backuped up my collections.

Thanks.

Had the same issue, but all my collections returned (whew!).  Here's what I did:

1. Type (Alt+F) to open Settings & more

2. Select Help and Feedback, then About Microsoft Edge

3. Microsoft Edge will automatically update and/or finish updating to Version 85.0.564.23 (Official build) beta (64-bit)

4. Restart Edge browser when prompted

After browser restarts, you will likely need to select your profile, open "Manage profile settings", then logout and then log back into your profile.

If the collections don't appear right away, go back into "Manage profile settings", select Sync, then toggle off/on collections, then Turn off sync, and finally Turn sync back on.

There is a high probability that your collections are still in the cloud and that these steps will work.

Good luck
