Why does EDGE keep changing my default search engine back to BING... Stop hacking my PC, Microsoft.

This happens with almost every update (once a week). I have to go into Edge settings and change my default search engine back to DuckDuckGo. Stop hacking my PC, Microsoft. Please fix this behavior. And no, I shouldn't need to "Edit the registry" to fix it.

Edge is very particular about respecting the user's choice when it comes to the default search engine used in the address bar. If yours is changing, something else is changing it. Do you have any third-party 'security' software - like McAfee, Norton, Avast, Bitdefender, for example - that may be preventing or reversing changes?
