1. As posted earlier in this thread... Edge > 3 dots > Extensions > Manage extensions >
disable all extensions. Does the problem persist?
2. [Ctrl+Shift+del] > Clear cached images and files (for all time)
3. If #1 & #2 didn't help, shut down the computer, modem and router for 4 or 5 minutes,
then restart all.

It's not personal. I don't know you, but it's not uncommon for users to skip over the post that would have helped to post "I have the same problem." ;-) It's something we get used to.
1. Do other browsers have the problem?
2. Do you leave Edge or Chrome running in the background for long periods of time? (20-30 minutes or longer) Both can become resource hogs if left running like this.
3. In fact, when the problem occurs, does closing all Edge processes help?

Hello,
I know this was posted quite a while ago, but it looks like this thread has gotten some views recently. Hence, I wanted to check in and see if you (or anyone landing on this thread via search) are still seeing this behavior on the latest version of Microsoft Edge.

It's not just Edge. My wife's laptop has this behavior in Windows 11 for all browsers. We have cleared cache, rebooted both the laptop and the wireless access point. No other systems on the network (Windows, Mac, or Linux) are having the issue. We have Mcafee running and current with regular scans and on infections.
Every browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) when used to access a website require you to refresh for every page change. This is especially troublesome when attempting to make purchases online and refreshing the order page is not advised.
