USB Internet stick disconnects from internet as soon as I open Microsoft Edge

I am using Windows 10 and from today as soon as I open Microsoft Edge my USB internet stick disconnects.

Why is that?

How can I fix that?

Hi, DewaldPretorius1!

My name is Caio. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

Is this happening only when opening MS Edge or does it happen when you open any app or program connected to the internet? In any case, try the steps below:

->> Update your network card drivers:

> Search for Device Manager on your Windows search bar and open it
> On the window that pops up, expand Network adapters
> Right-click on your network card and then click on Update driver (if it has two, one for Ethernet and one for Wireless, update both)
> Proceed the update and follow the given instructions
> Try downloading again

If this doesn't solve, instead of clicking on Update driver, click on Uninstall driver. Reboot your PC and let Windows reinstall drivers.

I hope this helps you! Please let me know if I can assist you more.

Best regards,

Caio G.
