I use a web-based program that has drop down boxes. To the right side of the drop down box is an "X" that deletes the entire entry. Since the recent Edge update, when I access the program through Edge the X no longer appears. In order to delete the entry,
I have to highlight the contents and press the delete button or I must use the Backspace button. The same thing happens in Chrome, which is why I preferred using Edge. Being able to simply click on the X to delete the entry was quick and simple. The other
methods aren't complicated or time consuming but why should such a simple and handy feature be eliminated? Further when I open a pdf file, the file now opens in the lower left corner of the screen. This action is also similar to Chrome, which I didn't like.
However, I can live with it. Not having the X to delete the contents of the drop down boxes just perplexes me. Why does an upgrade lose such relied upon features?
