@ Jeremy Countings:
Thanks for your clear instructions ! This is the message that I have been receiving each time I try to "Sin in" during the last few days. The system generated this similar message each time :
" Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentification attempts. Please wait a moment and try again. "
My problem surged a couple of days ago. Having realized recently that the icon for "Mail", on the list of apps at "Start up", had been leading me to what must be a fake Outlook site, or just to their advertising management unit. I have repeatedly informed
them that I do not purchase anything online. To no avail !
Apparently, in order to push me into their insulting ads marketing box, they algorithm, logarithm etc, must have been programmed to dump all emails in the junk-box. That has been going on since the Spring of 2019, after over 150millions medical records
were hacked.
Since then, every week, thousands of ads for all genders, for all sorts of medical conditions, pornographic outlets, pedophiles, porn addicts, international sex trafiquants, etc. However, l can count on one hand, my legitimate email senders -- e.g., MSN
a couple of times per year, and a monthly note from cable and internet provider !
Consequently, I decided to uninstall that fishy "Mail" icon from the startup task bar. That fake site is back on now. And criminals on cyberspace duty do no sleep . Since they has decided to block my access to the legitimate Outlook site where -- I
found out too late this year -- I could have taken advantage of a great classification list of optional reasons to BLOCK offensive and other inappropriate ads.
I hope that this is not a practice stamped by the legitimate Outlook's administrators. Such would be too shamefully unethical! Perhaps, due to global turmoil, and political crisis in the USA, the CEOs and admins @ MSN are not aware of a potential hack
of one of its legal email program.
At this point, I simply need to access my legitimate MSN email account, remove some forgotten old emails from the era when AOL, www.msn.com, hotmail.com... were worth the praise from the fascinated novice user that I was. If I am not mistaking, and nothing
can be done at this point, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks for reading me, Jeremy ! And please, DO KEEP SAFE FROM generous distributors of the DEADLY COVID-19 virus !
