The new Microsoft Edge browser "New Tab Page“ is EMPTY (October 2020)

Hi All,

After updating to the new Microsoft Edge (Chromium build) via Windows Update many months back, up till today with the latest build 86.0.622.38 (Official build) (64-bit) as of 10th October 2020, instead of showing GEAR icon for me to choose Page layout, Shortcuts link and news feed, it shows just an empty tab page with a search bar instead.

I tried to force uninstall the Chromium build of edge and reinstall it, but still shows the same empty tab page. 

Anyone able to assist me on this bug? Thanks.

What the new Microsoft Edge "New Tab Page" should look like.

Going to the settings > New Tab Page > Customise , does nothing but to the same empty blank tab page.

Running on latest Windows 10 Version 2004 (Build 19041.546)

Hi, thanks for the reply but as from the screenshots  attached above, I have mentioned that I'm running the Chromium version of Edge.

The link you attached is the "original Edge version" settings. 

Note: Before I posted this question to ask for help, I have searched around the internet to find solutions and one of it was the link you attached. 😔
