Set Google as the default Search Engine

Hi

Am trying to set Google as the default search engine basically at all times.  Have gone in to settings and changed in the search bar clicking on Google as the default but nothing changes.

Any ideas please??

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.
-Open the Edge browser
-Click the 3 dots at the upper right side.
-Click on Settings
-Click Privacy Search and Services
-Scroll down and look for "Address bar and Search
-Click the drop down arrow and select Google.

Restart the Edge and check.

If issue persists, re-install the Edge browser, go to this link below.

Download and install the version 90.0.181.41. Once downloaded and installed restart your computer and set your default search engine.

Are you sure? The New Tab Page still looks the same, but if you enter something in the address bar to search for, you should see a page of Google results when the page reloads. Don't you?

Thanks but this didnt work.  Which Chanel version should i use? Do i really need the business version?

I appreciate your time in getting back to this thread, have you tried to install the latest version of Edge? if not please do so, if the steps did not work, no worries since this is an open forum, maybe someone else in the community has an idea or solution regarding with this issue. I don't know if you tried it already but go to edge://settings/privacy and at the bottom of the page select address bar and search. Set the settings like this 

By default, the second option is set to search box. The problem is that the search box always uses bing.
