PIN and Windows Hello

Such a nightmare to talk with a person in customer service at Microsoft. I need support as the computer does not accept my PIN to log in when I turn the laptop on. When I go to settings/account/sign-in options it only shows: PIN (Windows Hello) - This option is currently unavailable.

I tried everything to reset my PIN of access and IT SIMPLY DOES NOT LET ME. What if I don't have fingerprints anymore? Then I'll never be able to log in to my computer???? THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Can someone please help? This Windows Hello is not working. The system is not allowing me to update PIN codes or make any changes to my sign-in options. There are no pending updates on my end.

I uploaded a screenshot of what it shows. It does not matter how many times I click on the links it shows, nothing happens or either sends me back to the same spot.

Best and waiting hopefully.

Hi, E.P. Santos

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are experiencing an issue where the Windows Hello feature is not working. Generally speaking, the "PIN (Windows Hello) - This option is currently unavailable" error is related to your computer's Windows Hello driver and service, we suggest you try the following solutions.

1. Press Windows+R, type service.msc, find Windows Hello related services, right-click to disable them, and then re-enable them.

2. Press Windows+X, click Device Manager, check whether your Windows Hello driver is normal, we suggest you go to your computer manufacturer's website to download the Windows Hello driver corresponding to your computer model and system version.

Sincerely
