Out of Memory error

Hi , I am facing a problem , My laptop specs are 24gb ddr4 ram , ryzen 7 4800h. Though having plenty of memory edge after using 2400mb of ram or after opening of 25th tab crashes and shows out of memory error. pls. help

This may happen due to memory leak in driver or app. Please run Task manager, open Performance tab, select Memory at the left and show a screenshot when you have this problem.

ok sure . but is there any fix which I can apply. I have tried to change sharedSecion in regtistry but that didn't work.

I am having this same issue on the latest version of Edge, and have performed all the same troubleshooting steps as the poster. My system is using 20% of the 32GB of ram, but I still receive this error. I tried Chrome, and also received the same error. Please help. I don't know what to do and its very annoying and happens a LOT. However it happens even with just 1 tab open.

I would like to get more information. Are your drivers and Windows up to date? Are you using Windows 10 or 11? Do you get this error on a specific website(s) or any websites randomly?

iam using Edge version 100.0.1185.29 64-bit & win 11 version 20000.593 & all system drivers are up to date, and this error occurs in certain websites such as surfing high resolution videos on facebook, and when this error occurs the paging file amount is beyond 70 GB! while the ram usage is about 15 GB out of 32 GB my system have.

& what is fatal about this error is that its keep using the available storage space as vram for paging file, no matter how much available space you already have in free, till the storage is fully occupied by this error, then the system starts to have errors in the gpu or the display settings as a result.
