New tab page Bing image of the day

I've already found the thread that you mentioned, and tried all the troubleshooting steps they mentioned. However, it still displays random images instead of the Bing Image of the Day;

I just don't know if this is an new change to Edge itself or if it's a bug.

Any suggestions?

          Very Good Question!... I too am experiencing the same thing as you. The first thing I thought, was it was a "Bug" and started trouble shooting.  However I did write the Edge team with feedback on this, and they are looking into it. It just started this before the weekend of 2/29/20 to 3/2/20 and use to work perfectly.

Thought at first that it was just me, but now I'm glade that I'm Not the only one seeing this. It is possible that it is a "New Feature" with the last update to edge. But nothing to confirm this yet. The picture Does change each day, but it is "Not" the Bing's picture of the day from there home page.

You can send them a feedback by using your Feedback Hub app or by using the Microsoft Edge insider version to directly send a screenshot.

All channels (not just insider versions) of Chromium Edge include the feedback applet that feeds direct to the product team. Alt-Shift-i opens the applet:

Maybe it's a new feature that is replace the Bing Image of the Day... it reminds me of the Windows 10 lockscreen "Windows Spotlight" where the images depending on if you heart/no-heart, it'll curate future images to your taste...

       (IMO) I believe it is a New Feature to the Edge Chromium Browser. But please don't quote me on that yet, because I have Not Heard anything back official Yet. And yes it does seam to work like the Windows Spotlight feature and has some Great Pictures. never the less, it is functioning perfectly, except for this new change and to tell you the truth!... I Like This New Feature Better 😊

I also have this issue, and it's a year after this post was created.  Does anyone know if there has been any update or communication regarding this "bug?"

@EdgeTeam ... Any update on this, I really liked being able to navigate the images.
