MSNBC Live Feed Won't Load Properly Without Utilizing User Agent Extension

I'm currently using the latest stable version of edge browser for windows, and my current issue is the fact that the 'live' feed option won't play correctly without me using a user agent extension to change which browser I'm using. Here's a link to the site in question: MSNBC Live: Stream the latest TV shows , when I'm utilizing a different modern windows browsers I don't have any issues. To me this is very frustrating so I'm wondering if it's some kind technical issue within the browser itself ?

I'm currently running the following:

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, Version 22H2, O.S. Build 23466.1001, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.23466.1001.0

Thanks for any help and suggestions that might possibly might get provided to me concerning my current issue.

Hello Davy49.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you can't load Live Feed on MSNBC Live with Edge.

The difference in user agents between the Edge and Chrome seems to be an additional Edge string and maybe this thing causes your problem.

Maybe you can try to press F12 and change the User Agent in the development tool.

Click Network conditions

Change the User agent and refresh the page.

To help the Edge teams fix this problem you can submit your feedback by pressing Alt+Shift+I in Edge.

Hi Tommy,

Thanks so much for you timely as well as informative reply, I'm thinking what actually concerns me the most about this issue is the fact that the other windows browser's that I currently have installed on my windows 11 pro computer don't seem to have this same issue.
