Microsoft Edge Translator Not Working

Hello there

I have been using Edge translator for a long time. Edge translator stopped working today. I didn't make any changes. I think I cleared the cookies yesterday or the day before. I don't think it could be related to that. I tried resetting Edge. Resetting did not fix the problem. Can you help me?

Note: Where I marked in the screenshot it says "This page could not be translated". I am getting this warning on all pages.

Hello pixelcraft, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand that the translator stopped working on Edge;

Initially I recommend that you try Reset Edge settings;

Open Edge and click (...) in the upper right corner to access Settings;
Click Reset settings in the left menu;
Click Restore default settings values;
Click Reset;
Restart the Application and check if the translator now works;

If it still doesn't work, try restoring the Edge;

Press Windows key + I and access Applications;
Select Edge from the list and click Modify;
Click Repair;

Check that the translator now works normally;

None of the suggestions from Luiz will fix the issue. Azure Cognitive Services, which is what performs the translation in Edge via an API, appear to be down. This is affecting translation for a wide variety of services, including internal tooling for Microsoft and our various suppliers.

I can promise that this is a very high priority to resolve. You should not have to do anything to start using it again once it gets resolved.

Dear pixelcraft,in that case I recommend you try the following;

Look for updates on Windows Update and make them all pending;

Update apps from the Microsoft Store;

Open the store and click on Library in the lower left corner of the screen;
Click Get Updates and wait for all apps to update;

Make a clean boot:

Clean boot serves to determine whether a background program is interfering with the system or optimizing system loading.

1. Press the Windows + R keys, type msconfig and click OK;
2. In the System Configuration window, click on the services tab;
3. At the bottom of the screen, check the Hide all Microsoft services box and click Disable all;
4. Now click on the Startup Programs tab and on Open Task Manager;
5. When loading the task manager, click on the start tab and disable all non-Microsoft programs (right-click on the program and choose disable), close the task manager and click OK on system configuration and restart computer if requested.

NOTE: This procedure disables all third party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, selectively enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, instead of keeping all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

Do a network reset;

Access Windows Settings;
On the Settings page, select the ‘Network and Internet’ option;
On the Network and Internet page, click on the ‘Advanced network settings’ option;
On the next page, click the Network Reset button and under Network Reset click Restore Now;
On the confirmation popup, click ‘Yes button’;
Restart your computer and check if the translator works;

The problem is now solved by itself. Now work. I tried many ways but none of them worked. It is working now. It fixed itself.
