Microsoft Edge download link issue

Currently on Edge download page https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge (22/04/2020 10:13 AM AEST)

"Accept and Download" button links to the same "Privacy Statement" page. I wanted to give Edge a try on a new Windows installation, but couldn't download it. Heading to download Chrome now...

Sometimes by just updating your Windows 10 OS and restarting your computer works
so please try it also.

In my personal opinion the new Microsoft edge works best with windows 10

If you don't mind me asking what internet browser you have use in downloading the Microsoft edge is the new old version of edge or internet explorer .

on a fresh windows 10 instance I only have Internet Explorer 11. 

Steps:

1. After a fresh Windows 10 installation, use IE11 to search for another browser, that's normally the first thing I did after a fresh windows installation

2. Click on the Edge promo (even though I search for Google Chrome)

3. Click "Accept and Download", it took me to the same "Privacy statement" page, as you can see in the Developer tools, both links are going to the same page,

It's just a link issue on the main Edge website I think, on the very "Download" button. Someone in the content team of the website, or maybe the web developer forgot to change the link when copy/paste?! :)

Or maybe it's the evil spirit of IE itself which caused that...  FYI, I tried Google Chrome and didn't have the issue :D

Base on the screenshot you have provided If you don't mind, can we troubleshoot your IE?

This is to make sure that the concern on your EI base on the picture above would be fix and not re occur again.

After troubleshooting your IE can try to download edge again, if it ok with you?

Thanks for following up but I have not time for that. I just think it's a good idea to bring this issue to attention of anyone in Microsoft. 

I reckon you report this incident to the site developer somehow internally if possible, otherwise hope that it will be picked up somehow.

After this you may try to download the new Microsoft edge so that you may also try the new features it offers.
