I installed edge and it thinks I'm chinese

I installed edge and it thinks I'm chinese.

The gear icon everything is in chinese. I can't change it because I can't read it >_<

Please help.

click on the gear icon, at the bottom of the menu is a dropdown
this is the language and content, the options in the dropdown are written in the language of the local so you should be able to find your language and location in the list.

The menu is in chinese. I cant figure out how to get to language settings. Can you send me a picture of your menu?  Maybe its located in the same spot.

ya there's no dropdown in the chinese version :(

it is only the new tab page that is in Chinese isn't it?
which version are you running? the latest is 83.0.478.58
click the ellipsis (...) and select settings (gear icon)
in the left panel select "about Microsoft Edge" (edge icon at the bottom)

if Edge automatically checks for updates, let it finish, restart edge then look for the dropdown on the new tab settings again.
