Hello Fuz

Im Juliet and Im happy to help you :)

If your Microsoft Edge browser is being managed by an organization and you do not have access to manage it yourself, it is likely that your computer is connected to a work or school network that has policies in place to manage the browser. In this case, you may need to contact your network administrator for assistance.

However, if you are using Microsoft Edge on a personal computer and it is being managed by an unknown organization, it may be a result of malware or a virus on your computer. In this case, you should run a full system scan with an up-to-date antivirus program and consider seeking the help of a professional if the issue persists.

If you are simply experiencing issues with Microsoft Edge and want to reset the browser settings to their default values, you can follow these steps:

1.Open Microsoft Edge and click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
2.Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3.Scroll down and click "Reset settings" under the "Reset and cleanup" section.
4.Click "Restore settings to their default values" and then click "Reset."
5. Restart Microsoft Edge and check if the issue has been resolved.

I hope this helps! Let me know what happens :)

Please see this article: Why is Edge saying 'Your browser is managed' - Microsoft Community

There have been several cases recently of a malware infection which causes this message to be displayed, among other things. As the article suggests, if you see an entry on the page edge://policy that you don't recognize, please post back here with details.

I don't believe I'm infected... Have run deep scans with Malwarebyes and nothing... I have 3 computers and the 2 that are win pro are the ones that show it...

Thank you. It only needs one policy to be present for Edge to regard the browser as managed. You have set this one:

This removes the sidebar. There is no need to have this policy; the sidebar can now be disabled in Settings: edge://settings/sidebar. The options for the Discover button will enable you to show or hide the blue Bing button on the toolbar.

You can remove the policy and with it the your browser is managed... message by running this command in an administrator command window:

reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge /va /f
