How to resolve the connection of this site is not secure? November 2022

Here is my system information:

Windows 11

11th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) - i7-11800H @ 2.30 GHz

64-bit operation system, X-64 based processor Version: 21H2

Using Edge Browser for the most part and Some Google Chrome

Background Info:

This error has appeared on some other sites and I didn't think of it. However, this invalid response error or connection not secure error is happening on the site mwebworthy.com. This is the site that I sign up for MaxWeb, which is an affiliate site to promote products and everything was doing fine. However, even since last Saturday, this error started to appear when I click on their products, but I'm still able to sign in. I did contact my manager and she said, everything is fine on her end and suggested cleaning my cache.

I clean my cache multiple times and still have the same issue. I went on to Youtube videos to see how to fix this error and no solution was found. At the time, when mwebworthy.com was working, the three security programs were running in the background. I was wondering how to disable Super Anti Spyware and Malwarebytes without uninstalling them. I don't use real-time protection. I only use the free version.

The thing is that the main site https://MaxWeb.com works, but when I click other links within the site, the site opens and the message I see is: invalid response error.

Super and Malwarebytes state that they don't interfere with windows' important updates. So I don't know. Any advice that can help?

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

I’m not sure if you have taken the screenshot today or not, but the date looks incorrect on the taskbar. This can actually case these secure connection issues if it is not set correctly.

Kind Regards,
Elise

My apologies. Yes, I took this screenshot on November 7. I will give you the screenshot for today's date. I still have the same issue as you can see below.

Ok, the next thing I suspect is that the Super Anti Spyware may be causing an issue. I am not familiar with this so I'm not sure how to disable it, but certainly if you uninstall it I can't see any issue with reinstalling it later on if it doesn't make a difference.

Ok, I also notice you have an number of extension active in Edge, could you disable these also and try again.

Steps on how to do this can be found here:

Do you have the same issue if you try another browser such as Chrome or Firefox?

I disabled my extensions and sign in using the Google Chrome browser. I still have the same issue. I think at this point I will have to contact the MaxWeb affiliate manager and try again. The link was working at the time. Now, it doesn't.

Here is the screenshot of Google Chrome.

I’m also just trying this link and I agree it does seem to be an issue with MaxWeb rather than anything you are doing or anything on your PC.

I have a question. Is there something I can do in windows security settings on Windows 11? I found something called Outbound and Inbound rules. It says any inbound rules that do not match the security rules will be blocked. Or is that something different?

I also found on YouTube that the site has certificate issues causing the error or I need to reset or update SSL certificates.
