How to 'clear SSL state' in the Chromium based Edge (ver 81.0.416.72)?

How do you 'clear SSL state' in the Chromium based Edge (ver 81.0.416.72)? I see options for other browsers, but not for this one.

Do you want to clear SSL Certificates?

If so, click the 3 dots at the top right of Edge, choose Settings

In the search box at the left of Settings, type ssl, then on the right, click the option in Manage Certificates . .

Thanks, Dave. I do, if that's the same thing that happens when you 'Clear SSL State' in Internet Explorer. I really don't know... I only know that when I use the wrong certificate when I log in with a CAC (smart card), it fails, and the only way to attempt again, without 'clearing SSL state', is to re-open the browser, to get it to prompt me to try with a different certificate.

Are you sure, Dave? I'm wondering, if that's the same thing, why my cert's are still there in that tab when I 'Clear SSL state'.

Even after doing it a couple times, and closing out the Internet Options box, the cert's are still there.

I click the box and arrow to open the options. I'm not sure what you're recommending we do. Are we removing all individually? Because there are no options to do anything other than "Remove".

In the search box at the left of Settings, type ssl, then on the right, click the option in Manage Certificates . .
I see no option in "Manage Certificates" related to SSL session state, even on the image that was posted.

Also, I think there is confusion between SSL Certificates and SSL session state. You probably don't want to delete the certificate (that is how you are identifying yourself to the other system), but do want to clear session state (the most recent negotiation of SSL/TLS parameters, cipher strings, and session ID between your client and a specific website using a particular certificate). This may also happen when you clear all browsing history or close the browser.

But you wouldn't want to delete the cert unless you actually had a new, different certificate to load locally (such as if the old cert had expired or changed in some way).

Try clearing the SSL state directly through the operating system...

Open the Start menu.
Search for and open Internet Options.
In the dialog box that appears, select the Content tab.
Click Clear SSL State
