how do i remove pc accelerator

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE how do I remove PC Accelerator from my RCA Android tablet? Where did it come from?

The PC accelerator is a PC application and not compatible with an Android Tablet. If it was installed on your RCA tablet that runs on Android OS, to remove it, you just need to press and hold the application icon until the option to uninstall appears.

I do thank you for your response. I have attempted 3 ways to uninstall however I don't trust the message "do you want this app to make changes to your device" 

The PC Accelerator is an annoying pop up installed Nov 2019.

Hi Della, can you please provide me a screenshot of the message that you are receiving and a screenshot of the PC Accelerator that is popping up so I can better analyze it.

When I attempt to uninstall, I receive the pop up message: User Account Control...….Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device (I didn't trust this message)...….Verified Publisher: Microsoft Windows CLSID: (FCC 74B77-EC3E-4DD8-A80B-008A702075A9) Product Version 1.0.466, Customer Support 866 572 6507 .....…...My device RCA Cambio, 2 in 1 Notebook/Tablet, W101-CS, Windows 10



How to remove PC accelerate pro?

Erase PC Accelerate Pro from Windows systems

  • Click Start → Control Panel → Programs and Features (if you are Windows XP user, click on Add/Remove Programs ).
  • If you are Windows 10 / Windows 8 user, then right-click in the lower left corner of the screen...
  • Uninstall PC Accelerate Pro and related programs
  • Here, look for PC Accelerate Pro or any other recently installed suspicious programs.
  • Uninstall them and click OK to save these changes.

Sorry, Della, I got confused on your initial post since you mentioned that you are trying to remove PC accelerator on your RCA Android tablet and the instruction that you posted for uninstalling is for Windows 10.

Anyway, the instruction to remove or uninstall the program is correct. The prompt that you got about "do you want this app to make changes to your device" is normal when you are uninstalling programs on your computer. Please go ahead and follow the instruction if you want to remove that PC Accelerator on your computer.

go to settings > apps > then click the programs and features link in the apps section it should be in top right corner > find the program by the name of Silver Speedup > select it and click uninstall button. if you cant find any programs by that name here's a list of other names to look for:

Volatile Speedup
MBSilverSpeedUp
SilverSpeedup Logic
iPcap

YixSpeedup

YixSpeedup Soft

Hi. I'm having great difficulty removing PC Accelerate from my Windows 10. It came when I tried downloading Face Time. It doesn't appear on any Apps or Program list. Nor any of the above names like Silver Speedup. I've tried contacting PC Accelerate through their Contact Form but it doesn't seem to send off. So, like everyone above I just have this scan start everytime I open my laptop. Of course, I stop the scan. But even when it accidentally completed there still was no way of uninstalling this very annoying pop up program. 

I can also see no sign of Face Time so can't even uninstall that.

Please help if you can.
