How do I delete an expired credit card?

I want to delete an expired payment card from my Edge wallet.

I go the the wallet through settings. I select the card, enter my password, and click Remove below the card data. I get a message reading "Are you sure you want to remove this card from your Wallet?".

I receive the message "To remove this card from your Wallet, you need to remove it from your Microsoft account.". I am logged into my Microsoft account and sent to a page headed "Manage Your Payments".

The card I am trying to remove is not listed here, so I cannot remove it.

What do I do know?

Thanks

Hello Paul,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I suggest some approach for solving your problem.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Update Your Microsoft Account: Log in to your Microsoft account and navigate to the payment methods section. Check if the expired card is listed there. If it is, remove it from your account.

  2. Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Then, try removing the card again.

  3. Use a Different Browser or Device: If clearing the cache doesn't work, try using a different browser or device to access your Microsoft account and remove the card.

  4. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. They will be able to help you remove the expired card from your wallet.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your interest and support of Microsoft products.

Kind regards,

Yoshitomo
