Files on Google Drive will not download using MS Edge (Chromium)

Using fully updated Win 10 Pro:

version 2004

OS build 19041.508

MS Edge Version 85.0.564.51 (Official build) (64-bit)

I cannot download files from Google Drive using MS Edge.  If I right-click on a file and select Download, no download occurs to my specified Downloads folder, or to anywhere else as far as I know.  Google Drive files download fine from Firefox and Chrome.  I have tried clearing all Edge cached files.  What gives?

Answer
Answer

Edit the Edge browser settings.  Go to edge://settings/content/cookies.  See image below.

I solved the problem.  Third-party cookies were being blocked, so I allowed a few of them to be set by GDrive, namely ones from googleusercontent.  Now I can download files from GDrive normally.
