Erase button on stylus pen doesn't work

I've tried clearing the cache, updating it, and restarting my PC.

None worked so far.

Can confirm. the latest Version 114.0.1823.37 messed up the pen input on both my Surface 4 (1724) and Surface Go (1926).

Tried two different styluses, both have the same issue. Eraser button does nothing when in Draw mode, works fine when draw is unselected.

Most annoying part was that it updated midway through me doing notes for a class I am taking, and the eraser button just quit working on me :(

Reverting back to a previous Version 113.0.1774.50 (had to switch my Wi-Fi to a "Metered Connection" to stay on that version, otherwise Edge auto-updates and messes up the pen input again) fixed the issue so definitely the latest update is a regression on the pen input. Looking forward to getting it fixed.

Same issue on Asus VivoTab Note 8.

Erase button does not work on initial inking in Edge.

Issue detected after Windows Update 04 Jun.

Closing the tab, selecting Leave and then reopening allows me to use the erase button (the inking is preserved even though it shouldn't be after I closed).

Switching between Draw and Erase in the Edge toolbar works; it's the physical erase button on the top of the pen which only works when the tab is closed and reopened.

It works when the draw option is not highlighted. This is not activated when the window is reopened. As soon as it is activated, the eraser doesn't work. But deactivate the draw and it works again. This needs to be fixed.

I have the same issue.

I use suface pen in microsoft edge and I can't erase with shortcut button (but another app still works) since 5-6 June 2023 (UTC+07.00).

What should I do?

I have the same issue and can't even downgrade to the previous version. On window's 11.
