I just started having this same issue with MS Edge tonight after Windows 11 PC had been off for over a week or so. Was there an Edge update or something that is causing this? Never had this issue before...
Microsoft please respond ASAP

I have the exact same issue with Microsoft Edge. My installed Microsoft Edge version is as follows: Version 131.0.2903.51 (Official build) (64-bit).
When deleting History, the Delete browsing data dialog box freezes. The only way to exit is to close the tab.
I've attached an image of the Delete browsing data dialog box [Pressing on Cancel or the "X" results in a frozen dialog box.]

Hello! I have the same issue too.
I suspect it's the Browsing history that's causing the problem.
Not a fix that you might want, but I want to prove that it's some problems with browser history clearing on Edge's end.
Would you try opening another clear history window, untick the checkbox for "Browsing History" and press "Clear Now"
