I have same issue in MS edge new version

I can only speak about my experience on my Acer Aspire 5 .  .   . POINTER CURSOR NOT SHOWING ON  SCREEN:

pointer is turned off - For example, a button on the middle of the top row of my keyboard that has a picture of a finger pushing a rectangle, turns cursor pointer on and off. This is very frustrating because it is easily pressed by accident when moving computer or packing up, or cleaning the computer.
