Can't login to modem web page 192.168.0.1

I changed to the new edge browser.  When I try to login to my modem settings on web page 192.198.0.1 with the default username and default password I get incorrect username or password.  I can login using IE or firefox browsers.  Any help would be appreciated.

In firefox and google chrome was your password already saved? If yes, go to the settings, find 'password' and have 'display the password' for your address 19.198.0.1 because you probably don't have the right one.

When I use the default username and password for the web site 192.198.0.1, modem setting website, it works for both IE and Firefox browsers.  However when I use the same username and password in the new edge browser does not recolonize the username and password.  Since I can't login to the site, the site is not listed in the password settings of the edge browser.

Yes, what I mean is that in firefox for example, is the password saved in the settings? If yes you can go and see as i mentioned above, just to be 100% sure that it is the same password.

Thanks for your reply.  I assumed resetting the modem would reset the username and the password to the default.  It did not.  It was still using an older password.  Everything now works.  Again, thanks

I am also using edge and now I cant get to 192.168.0.1 at all. Been working great.
