Can you recommand a good free tool to download streaming video?

Unfortunately these are copyrighted and the providers spend a lot of money blocking any unlicensed downloads of their property. So any downloaders found are usuallly extremely risky with lots of dodgy add-ins and don't last long..

The solution is to view online on their dime, use a free download service that stays within the law, or buy music through a service like one of these which makes it also your property:

There is no copy right at all in my question. I am not talking about downloading music but live news etc. For example, there are the presidential debate clips online. Are those news clips not allowed to download? For example,

I know of no way to download news clips either. These all belong to the organization involved so a downloader like the old Napster came within their legal sights and eventually got shut down due to huge lawsuits. If I knew of any legal downloadable sources I would give them but the only usage I know of we have access to is the streaming sites that host them.

May I ask why you rated my post unhelpful when I gave you the exactly correct information? If I'd told you you could use illegal downloaders I would have put you and this site in legal jeopardy, so why penalize me for telling the truth? Didn't you want the truth?

Your answer is irrelevant and is not helpful. My question is not about downloading the music but the non-copyright video online. If anyone knows a good tool to download the non-copyright video, please share. Thanks.

You may not like the Answer but you cannot download other people's property without a license or permission. If you could then there would be legal download sites and there are not.
