Bing Copilot Search Disabled - How to Enable it?

Hi,

I'm using Bing copliot - which was called Bing Chat until recently I think. To clarify - I am using the AI chat style search from within Bing on MS Edge. I'll call it "The AI" from this point on.

It's very good , I've been using it for months now.

One thing that I'd like to know is that when the AI responds, there is always a note saying search is disabled. Does this mean the AI can't search the web to supplement it's knowledge? Does it draw from a knowledge base? Any answer on that would be great.

Also - is there a way to enable search? If only to see if it brings back different responses from the AI?

Many Thanks

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

At https://copilot.microsoft.com, Go to the Plugins Tab. Is the Search enabled?

I look forward to the response.
