How can I open ODF with Office for Mac?

I have a Mac at home.

I have the latest Office for Mac version but I can't open ODF files (ODT,ODP, and more...) where I can open it on my School's PC with Office 2007.

What's the problem?

The problem is ODF is not the standard office format and is not supported by Microsoft Office. Open XML office format is the standard that was adopted about 8 years ago. The LibreOffice fork of OpenOffice is able to save in Open XML format. Use LibreOffice to convert ODF files to standard format (.docx, .xlsx, and .pptx).

I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. "Independent Advisors" work for contractors hired by Microsoft. "Microsoft Agents" work for Microsoft Support.
