Error connecting to SharePoint: "You do not have permission to connect"

Original Title: "Microsoft Document Connection on Mac OS X Lion  (You do not have permission to connect)"
I'm using Network Solutions  as a Sharepoint Hosting Provider.  I'm currently trying to connect to Sharepoint from my Macbook Air run Lion.  I'm trying to use the Microsoft Office Desktop Connection  application to connect  and I'm getting a permission denied error.   I've tried changing the authentication method to basic and it still doensn't work..  Any thougths?

You might want to check with support at Network Solutions to make sure your settings are correct for their system, and that they have actually enabled your account.
I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. "Independent Advisors" work for contractors hired by Microsoft. "Microsoft Agents" work for Microsoft Support.
