laser pointer in powerpoint 2012 for Mac

I'm working with Powerpoint 2011 for Mac, and want to use my mouse as a  laser pointer.  In  2010 version, you can hold CTRL  and left click, and this turns the mouse cursor into a laser pointer.  It appears that this doesn't seem to work on  Mac. Any suggestions?

Hello

I do not believe that functionality is available on the Mac version. You should provide feedback to Microsoft on this. In Powerpoint, click on Help - Send Feedback about Powerpoint.
