error code 8072

I keep getting an error code 8072 that freezes my powerpoint and doesn't allow me to move it anywhere....any help? This is twice this morning....I need to know who to contact to fix this if it's too complicated to do myself, I need these powerpoints to run smoothly...it's my job!

AFAICT, this is an OS X error code - are you sure it isn't displayed as -8072? It's often associated with permissions issues.

Quit all other programs then launch Apple's Disk Utility. Run the repair disk permissions routine on your HD then restart your Mac.

If that doesn't correct the problem you'd do best to ask in the Apple Discussions or Support sites. Make sure to include complete & accurate descriptions of the error window & its content [exact wording] along with specifics about the files & programs involved:

Thanks! The Apple Support person had me install the updates that had recently shown up....doing that seemed to have fixed the problem.
