Trying to dismiss / remove / delete outdated Outlook reminders. - but in vain!
Solution requested for an annoying problem with Office Reminders:
Environment: Outlook:Mac 2011, Version 14.1.3, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2.
Scenario: Imported PST (created on Outlook:Windows 2010, Windows 7, Enterprise SP1 - 64-bit, size=c.a. 2GB) to above.
Problem: Outdated Office Reminders keep popping-up, every time Outlook:Mac is started and / or OS is restarted.
Steps taken till date:
1/ DB Rebuild - using DBUtil. Rsult-> None.
2/ New Identity - Rsult -> None.
3/ Trying syncing the service with iCal, then import after removing duplicate entries - Rsult -> None.
a/ Manually select and strike-out all the reminders. Rsult -> They still pop-out after Outlook:Mac is restarted.
b/ dismiss all -> obviously does not work. c/ Turned off office reminders, removed the MS Database Daemon from startup items, still no effect. But also, this cannot be the end solution - since office reminders need to pop-out for new tasks / followup items
/ calendar entries.. etc
Would appreciate any possible cues towards finding a solution..

Manually remove / mark complete events, to be followed up mails ... etc .. within the tasks folder - for both the exchange a/c and the local pst folders respectively.. This - then works :D
The problem (possible bug?) - trying to do the above in the notification windows (as any Outlook:Windows user would be used to.. ) does not dismiss or delete the actual events in it's respective folder...
Tip: Value has a Value only if it's Value is Valued
