Will my macros run on a Mac?

Hi I have some quite complex Excel macros now, and some of our staff want to start using Macs. Can anyone tell me what won't work in Office for the Mac? Or point me to any comprehensive articles?

Thanks

Answer
Yes, active-x controls will not work. Yes, excel for Mac 15.13.1 is Office 2016 for Mac. Ribbon customization is not supported at all, in any form, in any Office 2016 for Mac application. So, your macros that do tasks may work, anything that attempts to customize the UI will not!

Windows Excel has 2 versions of the controls. The Active-X controls and the controls from the forms tool bar. If you have used the controls from the forms tool bar they will work fine on the Mac.
Mac Office 2008 does not have VBA. The current version Office 2011, and the prior Mac version Office 2004 do support VBA.
