This identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage

I can't find an answer to:  "This identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage"

I understand 'why' but can't add or find proper identity!  I can't use the database utility 'caused there's nothing showing in the "verify, compact etc. window"

Office 2008 (12.0.0), iBook G4, OS 10.5.8.

Please help! TIA, Jack

Update Office 2008 to 12.3.2.

This Identity Cannot Be Opened With This Version of Entourage"

This message usually means any Identity saved with a newer version will not open in an earlier version. We see this a lot when users do a re-install of Office then fail to upgrade.

Steps to update Office 2008 after installing from DVD

Install Office 2008 on Lion
