15031 - unable to connect via Remote Desktop Gateway

Hello,

since the upgrade to 15031 I am unable to connect via Remote Desktop Gateway to RD Servers. Is there a workaround for this problem.

Thank you.

Regards

Sascha

I have the same issue. The restart didn't fix it obviously :)

I guess it's a bug on the release, but I can't find any logs for the Remote Desktop Connection application (mstsc)

Same on my 2 PCs with 15031. Unfortunately I have to go through the remote gateway, so I cannot connect to work from home now. Any ideas for a workaround until it is fixed?

I started using the Remote Desktop UWP Apps last night. They seem to work.

Thanks Sasha! Works like a charm... :-)

I gave up on the UWP App a long time ago because it did not provide the settings necessary for my connections. Should have checked it again.

The UWP app helped, I managed to log in to both Windows 10 and 7 computers at work. But it failed to log in to my computer with Insider preview 15031

I am also having this issue. Using both mstsc and a 3rd party app (Royal TS, which I presume uses the built-in RDP libraries) wont connect. Royal TS give error 50331656.

A workaround would be very useful!

I'm on the fast ring for Windows 10 Insider.

Build 15031 was automatically installed on Friday from Windows Updates.

After this build was installed I was no longer able to initiate remote desktop connections to servers that rely upon using a RD Gateway.

I rolled back to the previous build (build 15019.rs_prerelease.170121-1513) to restore the RDP functionality.

Not real sure it you folk are just talking about PC to PC remote.  If not, please ignore.  This may be useful for the folks that just want PC to PC remote.

I fought PC to PC remote for a long time until I started to use Teamviewer free.  It is just so darn easy.  I have all my clients on Teamviewer.  No fuss, no muss.  I just enter 9 digits and I am on their PC.
